Step 1: Buy Your eSIM and Pick the Data Plan

The first step is super easy! Here’s what you need to do:

  • Go to the UPeSIM website or download the app on the app store.
  • Choose your country and data plan. We offer plans for over 200+ countries, so just pick the country you’re traveling to and select the data plan that best fits your needs.
  • Complete your purchase with a few clicks, and you’re all set!

Once that’s done, you’ll receive your eSIM details, and you’re ready for the next step.

Step 2: Activate Your eSIM

Once you receive the eSIM details in your email inbox, you're all set to activate it! There are 3 options to choose from for activating your eSIM:

Option 1 - Within the Application for iPhone

  1. Download the UPeSIM App [Download Here].
  2. Log into the app using your account details.
  3. Go to the eSIM tab.
  4. Select your eSIM and click on the QR code.
  5. Tap Download the eSIM and follow the instructions on your screen.

Option 2 - Scanning the QR Code

  • Open Settings on your device.
  • Tap Cellular/Mobile.
  • Choose Add Cellular/Mobile Plan.
  • Scan the QR code you received via email.

Option 3: Manual Setup

If scanning the QR code isn’t working or you got the code on a different device, you can enter the details manually:

  • Go to Settings on your device.
  • Tap Cellular/Mobile.
  • Select Add Cellular/Mobile Plan.
  • Choose Enter Details Manually and input:
    • SMDP Address (just the address, no https://).
    • Activation Code.

That’s it! You’re all set with your eSIM and ready to enjoy seamless connectivity.

Step 3: Set Your Cellular Plan Preferences

Once your eSIM is activated, you can set it up just the way you like, especially if you’re using dual SIMs. Here’s how to customize your eSIM settings:

  • Label Your eSIM Line: Make sure to give your eSIM line a name like “Travel” or “eSIM” so you can switch between lines easily. Go to Settings > Cellular, then tap on your eSIM to add a label.
  • Turn on Roaming: If you’re traveling, you’ll want to enable roaming. Just go to Settings > Cellular > Your eSIM and switch Roaming to On.
  • Set Cellular Data to eSIM: Head over to Settings > Cellular, and make sure to set your eSIM as the primary line for cellular data.

And you’re all set! Your eSIM is now ready to use and perfectly customized for your needs.
